Disturbingly low pay for Degrassi actors
Actors mad 2k an episode with no additional benefits. Horrible. Toronto is monstrously expensive on top of this fact. Lauren Collins (one of the actors) mentioned more recently she made as little as ''8 dollars'' an hour in the early 2000's in the first few seasons. Other cast members had mentioned they only made 30 dollars per day.
