Best film ever made?
It is hard to watch, indeed. It is frightening at times, and beautiful at others (the scene near the end where Alex and his boyfriend wake up and begin to cuddle and stuff). But this movie may be the greatest film ever made. Or perhaps one of the greatest, up there with Mulholland Dr and 2001 A Space Od. The movie is a great metaphor in so many things, including modern society, love, revenge, violence, and well... time.
I strongly recommend this movie to anyone. Despite being very harsh, it is a great piece of cinema.
