Shallow characters and dialog

I don't understand how this can get 7.7. I was bored most times. The acting isn't convincing many places. The characters, camerawork and music feels cliched. The movie is way too long.

4/10

Antiparanoia is the eerie feeling that nothing is connected to anything else

maybe scary movie 5 is more up your alley?

Interesting, I disagree with almost all of your points. I found the camerawork inspiring, the characters totally deep and complex, and the music original.

@Goddam

AGREED!!
What a huge disappointment... the acting was sub par for such a good group of actors.
Even "if" the script was true to the book doesn't mean it was any good..
Just over all such a let down, it could have been a great story but instead fell COMPLETELY flat..

I felt like I was forcing myself to sympathise with the characters and constantly trying to excuse directing mistakes and at some parts I would even go as far as saying amateur shot choices.. the continuity was all over the place the close ups to wide shots were horribly executed and the sound in the club was just BAD.. A lot of it felt like cover up work. like the silent scene where he gets beaten up, it felt more like it was done out of necessity rather than artistically. With the tweety birds sounds as Norton comes to..
just over all such a disappointment considering the cost of production, the choice of actors and even for Spike himself..

4/10 completely fair score.
