Six-fingered man nod to The Fugitive?
The six-fingered man killing Monk’s wife reminded me of the one-armed man killing Richard Kimble’s wife in the TV series (and movie) The Fugitive. So I thought it might be homage to that show. However I read on a Monk Wiki that it might be a nod to The Princess Bride instead.
