Consistently the worst acting in any series I've ever seen.

Caruso is spectacularly wooden, but the rest are no better. To be that bad must be the result of a concerted effort by the cast, directors and showrunners.

Sensitive, aren't you? I watch crap like this for the same reason I watch Fox News or that I used to watch the late, lamented "Silk Stalkings."

They are so spectacularly awful that they invite derision and yes, I like yelling at my television screen.

Now how about that hug?

Says more about you than the acting.

If this show is that bad, how did it last 10 years? There are pilots these days that are one & done.

This.

You're right, he is wooden.

I suppose you could say Caruso needs...

... Some wood polish

YEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH

The only one who can act is the big cop with bald head..don't know his name but he can act. I'm surprised the show lasted this long. They need to stop with the CSI shows, NCIS shows, etc.. Hi I'm David Caruso and I'm the greatest actor in the world.. Douchebag!

All the "CSI" shows are the same. A wooden lead male supervisor and some very calm underlings. It's a formula that works, apparently.

Only Caruso was spectacularly awful, comically so. He's the Plan Nine From Outer Space of actors. The rest are fine, adequate. Emily Procter was an excellent actress but she phoned it in on this show, lost interest in real acting and I'm sure liked the big paycheck. But it's true that people weren't generally watching this show for the acting. Maybe the first of the big cop shows to put the accent on eye candy, now there are tons like it, Quantico, Chicago P.D. etc.

Caruso's over the top style worked on this show, because like you say, no one is watching CSI for the acting. The CSI franchise is known for its style and it's bizarre cases and unique scenery, not for realism and serious acting, so Caruso's style didn't bug me as much as it did some others.

I think he's a great actor, he was also good in NYPD Blue. As for his acting in CSI Miami, i think in season 8 he started to slow down and just stand and do nothing most of the time with his back bent and head to the side. He just look tired and wore out. Probably my guess not working out. For the most part he was pretty good.

Actually, I think this is the best one of the franchise. I watch because of David Caruso!
