What's the intro song called? and Q #2, who's the mall music by?

Hi. When the game starts up... the intro song is what I'm looking for. It hasn't really interested me until recently. :\
Also, anyone know who the mall music is by? When you enter the mall and that awesome (i'm serious!) music starts playing. Like elevator music... That i've been looking for years, but cannot get any info on it.

Thanks.

Well, AFAIK, the intro song has no real name, but is rather Rockstar's take on Jan Hammer's Miami Vice Theme. I presume it was composed by Rockstar musicians, perhaps by Craig Connor (he composed certain music for GTA III and some tracks for Espantoso in VC).
The above final sentence would apply to the North Point Mall music.

Edit: IIRC, it's called the 'Theme from Vice City'; and it can be found in the game's audio files.

Thanks for the info!

I think it was composed by Michael Hunter...

reply

I think not. Michael Hunter did indeed compose the theme for San Andreas and GTA IV, but not Vice City; his name is not credited at all in the Vice City manual.

'Teh' is teh best typo ever.

reply

Okay, not then.

reply

Everybody, the main theme is composed by Alex Horton
