Is there any relation between the car model and the radiostation in the game? I guess there should be. For instance, when Vercetti is stealing a pink old-style auto, there are almost no chances that "VRock" will be on... Did Rockstar give any hints on this subject?

There is some kind of correlation between certain cars and radio stations, but I'm not sure if it's the kind of car or the kind of driver that makes the difference. Since certain types of people usually drive certain types of cars, it may be the type of person driving the car that determines what radio station it's on.
Anyway, Taxis are the most obvious example of this, they're usually tuned to VCPR or Radio Espantoso. Industrial vehicles are often tuned to V-Rock, PCJ-600s are often tuned to Wave 103, sports cars are often tuned to Flash FM, Haitian gang cars are often tuned to Wildstyle, etc...
Yeah each vehicle has a default radio station.
