How realistic are the costs (property, guns, taxi fares, etc.)

By the standards of the USA of the 1980s. If you are an American who knows which is which in that sphere - you are very welcome with your top-notch finance-oriented reply. And what about pocket money, which is left after some unfortunate American pedestrian dies? Are the amounts realistic for a down-to-earth men and women (leave alone the gangsters) of that time.

Buying "Hyman Condo" for usd 12000.00 does not look real to me, but maybe you had it that way back in 1980s?

I've never even been to America (well, yet), but I do suggest that the $12,000 price could be for a single room in the Hyman Condo?

Oi!

Well for the Hyman Condo, you do get like four garages and a helipad, and I'm sure it's not just one room. I'm sure it's quite the apartment up there. In Vice City Stories however, a Phil Collins concert ticket costs $6000.
