Anybody else think this felt like a very rushed out update to GTA3?
Well? It was only released a year after GTA3 which would be like a sequel to GTA4 now.
shareI seem to recall that the reasoning for doing Vice City so soon, was based on the fact that the programmers were realizing how much more they could do with the game while they were making GTAIII. They were already well into making GTAII and decided to take the knowledge they were learning into the next game.
Was it rushed? Maybe, but for many fans of the GTA's, this is the favorite.

San Andreas is my favorite
shareSan Andreas is also my favourite, and a marked improvement over Vice City in every conceivable way.
I think the biggest is disappointment about Vice City is that the "city" just feels far too small. I love the variation in map in San Andreas.

My favorite is Vice City for sure, but i wish that they would have given you the ability to swim.
