What is the possibility of this for the Fast and Furious / Italian Job being in the same universe - using actor names.

Italian Job ends with Mark Wahlberg and Charlize Theron coming together as a couple. What if years later they were vacationing in Rio at the same time the Fast and Furious gang was stealing a giant safe and dragging it through the city. One of the many innocent civilians clearly killed in that heist - Mark Wahlberg. At that moment Charlize Theron vows her revenge. She calls up her other Italian Job friend and tasks him to kill one of the team members when he was in Tokyo (Han). While that is going on, she learns of Dom's pregnant girlfriend and kidnaps her, leading to Fast 8.

Now, what maybe happens was is Jason Statham wanted to satisfy Charlize, but didn't think Han deserved death, so he staged Han's death in Tokyo. Han stayed in hiding while Charlize Theron was becoming an international criminal (Fast 8), but once she is thought to be gone, Han comes back for Fast 9.
