Concerning the Manga- I think the 'New' Griffith is going to...

have all the people who have entered his 'New Kingdom' sacrifice and be devoured by his apostles. Remember, in order to be sacrificed, those to be sacrificed has to be closed to him and love him very much, can't wait for the slaughterfest.

That or Guts will be forced to choose whether or not to become an apostle, he's had that behelit on him for a long time now, and they always find their owner, maybe there was a reason its the only one he's had this whole time whereas skull knight collects them all. Guts might have to make a choice later.

I highly doubt that Gutts would choose to becoming an aposlte, have you played the first Berserk Game?

Or watch it on youtube, Gutts was quite pissed at how the lord would sacrifice his love to just becoming more powerful.

Caska is Gutt's world and now he is accepting more and more people to being his friends. Which I'm afraid might hurt him and the faithful readers when or their end comes.

In episode one and in the earlier chapters, I always wondered what was his problem and why he was such a jerk but at the same time had a heart of gold but covered it with dark humour. Truthfully, I had a tear after the Great Eclipsed and had more tears when Gutts had a montage of memories of all his comrades, even of Corkas of all people. He really cares for his brothers in arms. No wonder he did not want people to be close to him earlier.

Griffith would slaughter (sacrifice) all those idiots he 'saved' to become more powerful.

I really love Berserk. I swear, if I do become richer and have influence, I would definitely want this series to be a live action series and given proper attention.

This series is more than just monster violence, repeating readers and faithful readers would know what I mean.

Yes, that was my opinion, but I do own the anime set, the first movie, as well as 36 volumes of the manga, you could call me a fan of the series, but I like speculation.

Also, it looks like were the only 2 that are commenting on this board about the series in general, I find that incredibly depressing that such a great series gets shut down everytime a live-action idea comes up but other sub-par graphic novels are getting 100 million to make their movies.

I love this series more than any other because it actually also teaches me about human behaviour, has undertone drama etc.

Um, no, I can't see that being the case. Griffith already made his sacrifice and is now a member of the God Hand. Also, sacrifices don't work like that. It's typically a series of events, i.e. causality, that lead to the Behelit-owner reaching their 'lowest point' before they decide to sacrifice something/someone precious to them to escape the pain. Griffith/Femto has manipulated the current order of events, such as the world-merging and the sanctuary, to depict himself as some kind of saviour to the blind masses.

However, humans & Apostles living in perfect harmony is unlikely. I have a sneaky suspicion that on the surface Falconia will resemble a utopia where the majority worship the Falcon of Light for their false salvation, but behind the scenes it will be a different story. Perhaps all the "criminals" and "heretics" in the city will be rounded up and given to the Apostles for dinner. Or something along those lines. I can't wait to find out, but I'm fairly confident we can rule out your theory.

agree with all that you said. The last chapter said more coming in summer does that mean summer in japan?

I've read Vol 37 of the Manga series, and it seems that Miura really wants to play up the whole Saviour of the World vs. The Criminal Black Swordsman angle. Light vs. Dark and the grey area that readers find themselves in. Griffith seems to be building a utopia where demons and humans get along so that we think, "oh it was all worth it, all that sacrificing -- because now the people have this great place and protection from all those monsters". But the road to hell is paved with good intentions... so there's a sense of something sinister that hasn't been exposed yet re: Falconia. Apostles are blood-thirsty, right now they are satisfied killing other monsters for Lord Griffith, but for how long?

I'm really anxious to find out what will happen at Elfhelm and Casca. Man, I just want her to get back to being a badass again. So tragic what happened to her and her baby with Guts. I hope that there's a happy ending for them or at least a bittersweet ending -- 'cause those two have been through hell together. Please, please, please can we get another volume before my hair completely goes grey.
