So we know he was tortured. In the anime they say his tongue has been cut out and his feet and hands crippled. Does the manga explain what exactly happens? I'm not some sadist just curious it reminded me of Spoilers Theon from GOT.

If you go on with the story Griffith is rescued by the Band of the Hawk with help from the Princess. In the Anime it speeds along to the eclipse, in the manga they encounter an apostle named Wyald who is sent by the King to kill Griffith. Wyald is defeated by Guts but killed by Zodd when he tries to kill Griffith.Obviously there is more to this story and I would reccomend reading the Manga. Btw if you don't know what the eclipse is you need to see it to believe it so I won't say anything about it here.
