just finished watching the berserk anime serie, its amazing, i only have one question, is there any anime serie following up the events of the first episode?? in the final episode we dont know how Guts escape the demon dimension neighter.

well in the manga there are extra characters at the same point in the story, and those characters are what allow Guts and Casca to escape (although Casca loses all of her memories and is essentially nothing but a feeble infant). The story then continues with the world being in complete chaos and Guts going around looking for Griffith and fighting off hoards of demons. Meanwhile Griffith is creating his own army looking to create a Utopian society. The manga is still ongoing and is being produced at an extremely slow pace, partially due to deteriorating health of the mangaka
Plus, I bet you top dollar that Griffith's 'utopian society' will be a hell on Earth kind of situation. And all those people he 'saved' will be his sacrifice :).
shareI'll tell you this, the anime shows volumes 4-13 and leaves out volumes 1,2,3 (besides the snake baron), and also most of vol 12, currently the manga is on volume 37, so yeah... that's just the beginning.
