sharethanks...After watching the season one of Game of Thrones, I'm so frustrated knowing that Berserk could actually be made into a seasonal series. Not Mini Series or Mini Movies.
Just think about it, season one for about the Hundred Years War and the Rise and Fall of the Original Hawks
Season Two about Gutts (Gatsu) journey into the 'Holy Place' and fighting the Demonic Angels.
Season Three should be about the Kushan Invasion and the Emperor.
Season Four should be about what is currently in the manga :)
Sigh, if only if only I had more than an annual income of 30K. If I had a Mil a year, I would have sponsored for a Real Berserk series.
i would love a berserk tv show that wold be awesome its a long shot but maybe important people will see game of thrones and see have faith in another fantasy series. it would have ot be on a premium channel thogh i woldnt want another comic butchering like the walking dead. you know whats weird thogh? the new berserk movies dont have an imbd i looked it up to on the offical berserk page febrary 4th is the realse of the first one.
shareyup,is it really that hard to keep faithful to the source material. Look at Game of Thrones, even though a lot of a-holes put in book spoilers or people know the outcome, but looking at those character in the TV series and a lot of trueness in them, made it more awesome.
I personally think that if i have children or grandchildren, only they might be able to enjoy a real Berserk TV Series :(

i just finished watching, and i'm like WTF is with the Japanese style Porn Censor? I really hope it would not be like that for the trilogy.
I can only say this, why is it a trilogy only?
is the first movie going to be just about the rise and fall of the hawks?
then it better be more or less 2 hours long. or 2hr 30 mins just to cover up most of the story.
the second one should be about the fall of the hawks and Gutts journey.
the third one about the holy land and the kushan empire.
I really hope Berserk would not be rushed or edited too much.
Believe it or not, Puck maybe an annoying little *beep* but he is still essential to the Gutt's story, that fairy gives a good reason to how the hell Gutts would be able to survive serious injuries after fighting against demons and monsters.
actually i guess the first three films are basically a remake of the anime the first one ends with the knighting of the hawks after the battle with nosfurato zod guts and grifith. the second film will end with guts leaving the hawks and his short journy the 3rd film will end with the fall of the original hawks at the eclipse. then a New trilogy telling the story after that up until grifiths return to the human world.so all the manga is being planned to be made into a movie apparently there will be at least 9 films in total to get to the point where the films will catch up to where the manga is now. the guy who runs a website i write reviews for manged to see this first one though and he gave it a decent review here it is.

i asked him if the whole movie is censord and he said no so i donnt know why the clip i posted was.
early box office in japan suggests the movie will be very succsessful though which is good news for the plans of continuing the story passed the original anime,
