They have tons of backstory still yet to cover. I want to see the scene when the brand gets cut off of Lucian's arm and all that stuff etc. I don't really enjoy anything past Rise of the Lycans because they didn't do very good future stuff. I'd have liked to have seen everybody revert back to human at the end of part 2 as both Marcus Corvinus and William Corvinus, not to mention their father Alexander (the original immortal) were all slain. Which potentially should've ended the curse for all. And whatever became of the 3rd Corvinus brother, the one destined "to walk the lonely road of mortality as a human"? They focused too much on the made up future stuff and not enough focus went on the mentioned backstories.

I believe Kate Beckinsale has indicated she has no desire whatever to return to the franchise. She still looks incredible for her age, but it is almost twenty years since the original movie came out. If there is to be anything more in the Underworld franchise it will probably have to take the form of a reboot.

Since I'm not speaking about the future, Selene wouldn't be a part of the story as the events I'm speaking of are before her time.

I enjoyed the first two, as at least one other respondent has said though, the franchise has run it's course. Let's not rehash this series anymore

They touched upon a lot of backstory in the original movie. I'd like to see those things fleshed out. I'd like to see the story of the alliance that Lucian and Kraven made and the events that led up to the things Selene was reading about in their ancient texts.

I love this Franchise. I'd be up for it more installments. Kate did really well. Some new blood would be good, however the story needs to be good.

They just get worse and worse, though. I'd rather that they think of something new, but we know that's not gonna happen.
