orig/alternate ending has some good + bad scenes

As a fan of this movie, I was pleased I finally got to see the bonus DVD with the making of the film, interviews etc including the original ending that didn't do well with test audiences. i could see why it didn't because it dragged on and got a bit corny. That said there were some good stuff that should've been kept, e.g a bit of the eulogy by Walter which showed the Sheik in attendance, they also could've still made reference that the Foriegn Legion acknolwedged their passing without depicting the entire ceremony

There was one deleted scene that should've been kept, the one that shows why the salesmen kept visiting, Garth would mail back the advertising they would receive.....
