What do you think will happen in a sequel?
I hope that there is an Evangelion video game where you can beat Asuka up!
Probably something like the Other Mother somehow coming back and luring a now adult Coraline back to the Other World to rescue her daughter. Personally I don't think there should be a sequel.

I don't think it would be too late to make a sequel. Finding Dory came along 13 years after Finding Nemo. The same could happen with Coraline.

Don't even start on sequels. Coraline is one of my favorite movies ever and I would hate to get my hopes up just to be disappointed by a sequel. Still, the fantasy of it all is too good to be left hanging. So I think a better option would be not to have Coraline's character in the sequel, but keep the story. Maybe the Beldam survived and created another other world elsewhere in a different house and she feeds off kids there.
