So the Glock didn't fire because of a "light strike"? Well that's accurate and the reason I sold my generation 1 Glock 17.

Seriously? You could have gotten a Wolff extra power striker spring for 7 bucks and it would have been fine.

Don't be afraid to take your guns apart and work on them, you may like it. If you stake your life on a piece of equipment, you should at least be able to change some springs.

I'm not sure they had them back then.
Wolff makes great products I've used them on other guns.
