This scene was the most disgusting thing I have ever seen. I was watching this movie with my grandparents and nephew and niece and we were all completely disgusted when he ate the chocolate truffle. Did he really have to eat dog crap, did that just happen? It really ruined the movie experience for us as we were all sick to our stomach after watching that, it kind of ruined the movie unfortunately.

Or maybe it is because it is not evident that this movie is not intended to be a familly movie? The streap-tease scene for the bachelor party was fine? for your nieces and nefews ? That scene came before, so if you didn't stop the movie at that point, I assume that they are older than 6 years old, right?
As a mocked-up scene, it is one of the brightest one ever made: the actor playing Stifler has to render TWO OPPOSITE reactions at the same time. Not an easy task. He has to convince US, the viewers, that he eats dog-pooh, and he has to convince US that he convinces Michele's parents that he eats delicious chocolate. How, how YOU would render such an opposition? You have just ONE face, after all. And he does it very efficiently, not making us suspecting that he is... making a fake, in a movie!
That, that is one of the GREATEST SCENE, ever made!

and the other posts were right, this movie had tons of sexual scenes in it and lots of cusswords, and they were watching it with their niece and nephew and grandparents? and apparently they don't have a problem with the other scenes?

I TOTALLY agree you! That scene IS disgusting! Every time I watch the movie I either skip that scene or I block it withmy hand! I TOTALLY agree with you,that was revolting and did NOT need to be in the movie especially when the movie is being aired on tv!

If you've seen the others in the series Stifler has always had a bodily function, and in this case an animal function in his mouth. Original - semen(in beer), American Pie 2 - urine(gets urinated on thinking it's champagne, & now American Wedding - dog crap. And I absolutely agree with the others in the fact that it's an exceptional display of acting.
shareI thought the scene was unnecessary. He should have just explained that he'd picked up dog poop from the grass to prevent people stepping in it (or something) and Michelle's family would probably love him even more for being so thoughtful.

wow, you guys need to lighten up!! That was probably the funniest part of the movie for me. Every time I see it, I laugh hysterically. Best movie of the series in my opinion :)
