Okay, so at the end how exactly does the girl die? I mean, the converted robot plugs both of them into their own psychedelic Matrix, but then the girl is repulsed and just sorta freaks out and vanishes.
Also...I assume from the ending, the robot lives on as their legacy?
The sentinels kill all the rebels, and the only survivor is the matriculated runner, which will continue the rebels' legacy. When the runner plugs the girl again into their own Matrix, it seems that there is some kind of residual life in her mind, that quickly vanishes. That was strange, but I can't figure anything else out.
