Original language?

Was this originally produced in Japanese or English? I've only seen the English version, but I want to watch the Japanese version next time if that was the original language intended.

...although there probably is a japanese dub if you hunt around. try japanese online stores. shipping will be expensive but you should be able to track down a copy. check your dvd region code too.

The Wachowski brothers only wrote four of the nine episodes and all of them were animated by the Japanese.

I'm pretty sure that "Beyond," at the least if none others, is meant to be watched in Japanese language. The mouth movements fit better, not to mention that the story itself is set in Japan and the names are Japanese. Also if you watch it in English and then in Japanese, you'll see the Japanese version generally makes more sense. For instance the girl talking to her friend on the phone in Japanese is calling for her cat while in English she says some stupid crap like, "Yuki!! ... That's my cat." Why wouldn't her friend know that already? The way she talks to her they're obviously close. It's just a dumb, Americans are too stupid to get she has a cat even though it's about to show up sort of thing.

"Program" should probably be set to Japanese. Once again the mouth movements and what's being said fit better.

It's probably safe to say that anything with Neo and/or Trinity in it should be in English, so "Kid's Story" and "A Detective Story" should be English. "Matriculated" looks like English and so do both the Renaissances.

"Final Flight of the Osiris" seems to be English and "World Record" was a tough one but I'm gonna go with that should be in English too. So. :)

Whether they find life there or not, I think Jupiter should be considered an enemy planet.
