Worst "Jump the Shark" moments for the show?

For those who don't know the phrase "jumping the shark" basically refers to when a show goes so completely far off track (usually the last ditch effort to keep the viewers watching, or gain more viewers) that even the persons most capable of suspending their disbelief have a hard time believing what they're watching.

So, I ask you this: When do you think the show started jumping the shark, jumped the shark, and what the worst "jumping the shark" moment in the show, according to you?

The episode where Shane has sex with all the bridesmaids, then the mother of the bride. The bridesmaids catch her in the process, making out with her. I love the episode, but quite over the top.

I think there are several small little jumps where the cracks start to show, such as the ripped from the headlines pregnant trans-man story that was handeld poorly, Mia Kirschner's character Jenny completeley changing personalities, the "all about eve" remake etc. However I don't feel like the show made the full plunge until they introduced the murder mystery (and then it nearly drowned with the shark when the confessional tapes were released online)

I am replying to his comment specifically because I feel the episode you mentioned is IMHO the single worst episode of the show. it was the second to last episode of the entire series IIRC and it was 100% without any substance, like watchin someones uninspired fanfiction they got of a ourchart forum post.
Probably the only episode in the entire series that if you skipped it, you missed absolutley nothing of any importance to the show, and for that to be the episode before the entire show ends makes it even more awful.

I would say jenny and shane hooking up and everyone freaking out. Just not really their relationship and ripped off of something from queer as folk season 5 so we saw they were running out of ideas. Then later that season ripped off something from them season 1. The scenes side by side were eerily similar. It was when they could not process the lesbian couple at the hospital.

When that Senator burns that artwork during a hearing and Bette tells him off. So absurd. Pure fantasy genre.
