Why does Tina constantly shake her head?

I've been watching the seasons straight through and started to notice that every time Tina talks, she shakes her head. Doesn't matter if what she's saying is positive, negative or neutral, she shakes her head. Like a quick shake. And once you notice it, it becomes really distracting.

Her acting always seemed under par compared to the others to me. She did not carry scenes very well and maybe was learning. Some actors get better with experience while others lack the charisma.
