Thanks for 6 great seasons! -- What a slap in the face

I just rewatched the sixth season on Netflix and when those words came on screen during the credits I just laughed. Honestly, season 6 was a mess, but the final episode was the absolute worst. To then put those words was rather insulting. Plus season 6 really has no purpose (other than set-up for a spin-off that never ended up happening). The only plot point remotely important was Tina and Bette moving to NY. Jenny is completely out of her mind and over the top this season (finally lost it). However, I did find a lot of the season humorous because it was so ridiculous. The episode revolving around everyone finding out about Jenny and Shane was pretty great, just because everyone reacted how I did (is this a joke). Not sure the point of Dylan's return. They get back together only to separate again... Bette and Tina tried to adopt another baby, but oh that went nowhere either. I understand that is realistic, and overall did like the storyline, but to include it in the final season was just a waste of storyline. Half the plot points were just to make characters mad at Jenny. The stolen screenplay; Bette "cheating"; Dylan knowing about Niki; Jenny hiding Molly's note. I can watch season 6, and actually enjoy it because I still find it funny. But it honestly is completely pointless, and the final episode is just a god-awful finish. It may as well have been the pilot for the spin-off.

That storyline with Bette and Tina wanting to adopt a 2nd baby was actually a better one than the moving to NY one. Especially that scene when Marcy (i think? the one who wanted to give her boy to them)came to their house at night and made that whole speech about finding the most interesting couple and wanting her child to grow up in a better place was pretty moving.
but yeah, most of the storylines in S6 were made to be so each main character would have a reason to get rid of Jenny once and for all...

Dexter and L word both have a weird and bad final episode. I just take it for what is. A great show with one episode that does not fit.
