About MAx in season 4

Who really hated that redheaded Barclay? He and the others went out of their way to be mean to MAx? And the way MEgan held her fingers over her mouth when Max found out he had been betrayed by Brandon and her? It was like she was semi-enjoying the betrayal.

Well, MAx seemed like he was the only decent person towards the end. If i had been treated like that, when I quit, i wouln't have shook hands with any of my backstabbing coworkers.

It's a shame, the writers didn't dive deeper into Max's character. There was so much more they could have done. Her storyline seemed unfinished, almost like the writers lost interest.
I too would've like to see Max confront the others. Odd how even with the other lesbian characters she/he didn't fit in. Max was always the outsider even among these so-called friends.

And, I would have taken a parting shot at his boss kid before I left if I were MAx.

You should refer to transgender folks by their preferred gender, e.g. Max is always "he" not "she" or "she/he."

You're absolutely right! I was thinking of before and after Max's transformation. He never fit in. It's almost as if Max is used as a token character for the transgendered audience.
