Not having just watched, this would take a serious view-and-listen again to find the best case (not sure I can), but I did think the group Betty added an interesting touch, and I did love their Intro song. The music selection was fantastic, so many great songs: I keep adding to my playlist from this series. I had never heard of Jane Siberry before, so this series opened her music up to me. How did I miss her? Another topic would be to have the art that was used throughout this series, name and artist: would enjoy decorating my abode with a few pieces that were displayed. Impressions this series made on me were the music, the art, and of course the intrigue mixed with the non/acceptance and the struggle just to love whom you wanted to. Other music that struck me in particular were Alice Smith, Dream although I don't recollect the scene/s; Gabriella Cliimi with Awkward Game; Duffy with Distant Dreamer; Esthero with I Drive Alone, Telepopmusik with Don't Look Back, and of all surprises, at least to me, renditions of songs from the past, Isaac Hayes with his Walk on By. So many more, just the ones off the top of my memory.

I think this is the first time I have heard someone say something poistive about Betty's involvement in the series and the theme song they brought to the show. Your opinion is unique and I respect it, but I completley disagree. :)

Me personally, outside of the new theme song and Betty stuff I enjoyed much of the show's use of music. The original opening theme was so great IMHO with the various L words flashing on screen, it was quick, catchy and gave you a glimpse into the show at the same time.

Peace

Have to say this is one of my favourite shows music wise. I actually have a whole playlist dedicated to this show and some other Queer shows, so much good music!

One of my absolute faves is 'Whether You Fall' by Tracy Bonham during the Dana/Alice break up scene. There are so many others I could name, the music was really fantastic in this series.

I liked the Long Time Coming episode..some montage work there. And who could forget Shane and Page? The episode where one had to leave to join the Army and there was some kind of a break-in to a secure area to make a protest statement.
