I think when you have somebody as beautiful and iconic as Pam Grier than you should be able to give her better story-lines. Her story-lines were pretty crappy compared to the other ones who aren't even as established as she is...plus they kept on putting her with people who she had no chemistry with.

So far, I liked her scenes w/ Ivan prior to Kit seeing Ivan come out of the shower. Ivan did look manly in a David Bowie way, they when he came out of the shower (she) looked like a pretty feminine model type- which I found ODD.
I feel like if they had less random sex & focused more on fewer people & their emotions more than sex, it would have been more interesting.
Pam Grier was awesome in Jackie Brown & could have carried the entire series IMO, but she was treated more like a background supporting actress.
But perhaps the producers were looking to capture a certain audience & Pam would not be able to do that w/o them throwing in tons of nubile young women :0(
Maybe she had a celebrity cameo like Ariana Huffington..
shareShe was completely underused and the character of Kit could have been much more. I hated the fact that they never truly utilized Kit. My favorite storyline with her was the one with Ivan, but that one ended too soon. The storyline with Angus was stupid.

I loved her down home, in your face attitude.
When she was in the doldrums, it was impossible not to like what Pam Grier did with the character.
She hurt, but when she gathered herself together, it was Kit kicking ass.
