Mia Kirshner (Jenny Schecter)

Mia Kirshner was absolutely fantastic in this series. She totally embodied such an intensity of character I've not seen, a mysterioso. What an actress! I'm not over it yet. Tears in my eyes. The series had great music, and was lots of fun. Loved all the actresses, but Kirshner'a portrayal of the damaged, dark and deep, vulnerable childlike struggling Jenny really touched and fascinated me.

I'm sure it was fun for her to play a character that changes so dramaticaly throughout the course of the series. I don't really feel like the Jenny we see in season 1 is the same character as the one in the last couple seasons. But yeah she did a good job, I always enjoy the clip of her on a talk-show calling her character Jenny "The Annoying One" on the show :)

Peace!

I absolutely agree, Jenny Schecter is one of my fave TV characters (except for in the HORRENDOUS s6) and Mia nailed every scene! What a performance! Pure brilliance.

I don't like how inconsistently the character was written after series 3, but Mia Kirshner always did a great job.
