Lost the Respect

After watching the first season i was respecting this show and since I can't just watch one without watching it until the end...
I got to say that this show is really disrespectful to lesbians and women in general. i'm pretty sure that every recurring character has cheated on their partner, and they all keep getting into this catty *beep* that degrades women. I mean, I hate Jenny (big shock), I hate Bette because she's a pretentious snobby cheating woman, and Alice also started sucking at the end even though she used to be the comic relief.
Shayne was great until Jenny, Tina was great until she went straight again all of a sudden (which seemed to undermine the show).
Helena of all people, who was an evil rich girl at the beginning, ended up being my favorite out of them.

Kit is excluded from the list because she is awesome but she's straight, so doesn't count.

maybe she is Bisexual?

Why her not being straight make her not count?

Disrespectful to lesbians? Lol gimme a break. It's a friggen TV show and there are many other TV shows where nearly all the characters cheat on their partners, are they disrespectful to the human race? Lol.

I agree 100%...People seem to forget there are other television shows beside the L where a lot worse than cheating happens.

Although, I understand the need for lesbians/homosexuals to be portrayed in a positive light on tv ( and I think they were 95% of the time) but, in the end that's exactly what is was and will always be a tv show.

Everyone hates Jenny, but Jenny is the white rabbit of the entire series. It's through her entering into the scene that the show really has wheels to catapult the show from the get-go. Most of the first season's episodes ended with Jenny. And she becomes selfish and evil, eventually, which is what all serialized shows, gay or straight, need to have: an antagonist. Therefore she's just fine in my book. Pretentious as hell, but that's intentional. And best yet, entertaining.
