This would have made for a great film to game adaptation back in the day

Imagine if it was open world and the game is split into 2 main parts.

First is the 'BEFORE THE ROBOTS ATTACK' aka you play as Will Smith under a time limit. You only have a certain amount of days (similar to the original Dead Rising but longer) to solve the whereabouts of Sonny, get as many people on your side as possible, weapons, supplies before the robots turn. It's all based around character choice so won't exactly follow events of film depending how much time it takes the player to complete the tasks before timer runs out.

Second part then is the 'AFTER THE ROBOTS ATTACK' aka city is under complete chaos. If you didn't find and get Sonny on your side well now you have to explore through the city in chaos looking for him while being attacked by hundreds of robots depending if you managed to convince enough people from police force and other locals as well as obtain weapons to fight against them.

An idea if you think it could have worked as its own standalone game?

You realize that I, Robot was a collection of short stories by Isaac Asimov and NOT fucking video game, right? That’s a sarcastic rhetorical question directed to someone who has no idea about the source material.

This movie was a travesty of the book. Of course it was. Will Cuck Smith was in it.

No idea what your point is supposed to be. For instance The Mummy 1999 was loosely based off the 30's film including other inspired horror films and stories and that had a 2000 game adaptation... after all I am referring to I, Robot as the 2004 film not referring to all other references it was inspired by i.e. the look and style of the Hollywood production.

He has no point. He seems to be the resident prick around here.

The phrase is “back in THE OLD days.”

Eschew ghettospeak. Eschew Will Smith.

Ah I see you had to of course include a racial comment in your post...

I’ve explained this to you before, but here it is again for your benefit: “back in the day” is perfectly correct English.

For your reference, again: https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/back-in-the-day

It’s also listed in the Oxford Dictionary of English.

Unless you’re going to argue that the Cambridge and Oxford dictionaries espouse “ghettospeak”?
