Looking to buy the series on DVD - which way to go?

I haven't bought the series yet and am looking to make it my next anime purchase. Looking on Amazon and Anime On DVD (er, "Mania"), I am confronted by a lengthy list of releases.

Out of them, there's the Special Edition of each volume Here's volume 01):

The Special Edition seems to boast some really next extras, such as DTS track and soundtrack CDs (is there a CD packaged with each volume?), but some of the volumes are rather pricey.

Do either of the box sets contain the DTS track?

Are the soundtrack CDs available individually?
