Finally found Motoko for a live action S.A.C.

I've been trying to think of an actress that would make a good Major for years, but could never come up with anything. I came across this girl earlier and immediately thought of Motoko. Her name is Leah Dizon.

Assuming she can act(and kick lots of ass) all she would need to do is put on a little muscle.

Wow, slap a purple wig on her and get her some red contact lenses and she'd be a perfect carbon copy of the Major. Too bad she probably isn't a powerful enough of an actress. If someone were to play the Major they'd have to a be a stone cold actress in order to be able to properly portray her powerful character.

Well, i'm not one of those people who thinks we need to "whitewash" all Hollywood pictures based on foreign properties, but the beautiful part of doing a show like GITS as live action is that since, in at least the major's case, it would be a character in a prosthetic body, she wouldnt HAVE to be Japanese. That would at least expand the field for potential actresses. Though TBH i could totally see Crispin Freeman playing Togusa in a live action movie as well, and Richard Epcar has the frame to play Batou. How about Johnny Yong Bosch as either Saito or Paz? :)
