3rd Gig?

Any chance of one? This is my favorite show of all time.

Probably won't be done. At least, I haven't heard of anything. In a sense, Solid State Society was the "3rd gig", since it was a continuation from where the Hideo Kuze and refugee thing ended. I would love to have an actual 26 episode series continuing from where SSS left off, but would it be as brilliant in story telling as the first 2 seasons? After watching SSS(I've only seen it once) I was only left wanting more...much more. I have to agree it's also my favorite anime of all time. Maybe we'll see another season in the future.

Considering that there was a 10+ year gap between the original GITS movie and the show, and then came GITS 2. Who knows? It's very possible. But I doubt it will be happening any time soon. Hell, I bet that they'll be some p.o.s live action movie before this show comes back.
