Written by Leder, Real Love is described as a whimsical romantic dramedy centering on a brilliant female programmer who writes the code for “the perfect boyfriend” but unexpectedly falls for her creation when he becomes self-aware. Leder and Weatherly executive produce.

Real Love
hails from CBS TV Studios where Weatherly’s Solar Drive Productions has an overall deal. Tiffany Grant, who runs Solar Drive’s television operations, will co-executive produce.

Real Love is Weatherly’s second project in development at The CW. He’s also executive producing drama Mata Hari.

Leder was a writer and producer on MTV’s Faking It for its three-season run. Her other writing credits include Melissa & Joey, Men At Work, and Victorious. She’s repped by Gersh and Echo Lake Entertainment.
