If this had been in today's time the feminists would get their panties yet and cry "misogyny" and "sexism" even though they'd completely miss out the joke. 

I still have to ask, is she funny or something?

Considering where their careers headed, I think it would have been better if Mitch flip/flopped that joke with Mae Whitman and Alia Shawkat.
