Did Chelsea ever pay rent when she was living with Charlie?

For a time in season 7, she moved out of her place and into Charlie's. It was established that she worked--although it was never stated what she did--but was it ever established whether she paid rent?

Oh, I'm sure she was paying rent, but in a non-monetary fashion, if you get my drift.

If Chelsea was so wealthy (she owned 3 buildings) why does she live in some dingy
apartment, in some crummy part of town?
