I'm almost certain that the man who rang the doorbell at the end was a body double, not the real Charlie. So where the heck in that episode clarifies that the series finale was his last appearance on "Two and a Half Men"?

What the OP says is right though...IMDb implies that it WAS Charlie Sheen, but that he WASN'T credited. But the point is that it wasn't even Charlie Sheen - I wonder why the actual person who played Charlie in that episode wasn't shown, even if they were also officially 'uncredited'.
shareMy point is, however, that there is no reason to assume the IMDb is accurate. For quite a long time, they had Bernadette Peters listed as singing the theme. So the actual answer here is that they are wrong.
