shareYes, it is wrong to be happy when someone dies, just because of a character they played. She was playing a role. It doesn't mean she was anything like her character in real life.
shareif you say this picture that they just had at the bottom of the screen on where you'd see what i mean. she looked mean. also if it makes our lies better someone being dead then why can't we be happy when someone dies? it's not like we have control over when someone dies. so we might as well enjoy it if it helps us.
shareJust because you think someone looks mean doesn't mean that they are actually mean. Human beings should have compassion and empath. You should not be enjoying it when someone dies.
sharebut she was mean on 2 and a half men. so what i saw of her and all that matters is she is mean. now it was just a character but it was all that matters to me bc that is all i ever saw of her. that's the only important thing about her to me. this has nothing to do with compassion.
shareIf you've ever seen the original 1939 Wizard of Oz, you've seen two mean characters played by the same woman. Miss Gulch who had Dorothy's dog take from her to be killed and the Wicked Witch of the West, one of the most terrifying characters in any movie ever.
Margaret Hamilton played both, and was one of the most wonderful and nicest people who ever lived. Despite her amazing performance, it bothered her that kids were so frightened by her performance in the Wizard of Oz. She appeared on Mr. Roger's Neighborhood decades later in costume to show kids the difference between actors and their roles.
Looks aren't everything.
