question: why do they pronounce wiegel's name as "why gal"? that would make sense if her name was weigel.
another example is anthony wiener: his name is pronounced "why ner" when it actually should be "we ner".
for comparison: wiener dog, the movie. in this case "wiener" is pronounced "we ner", which is correct.

"Jonesy" is just a nickname for christ sake.
And as far as the pronunciations go, we also park in a driveway and drive on a parkway. The world is a backwards place. Stop worrying about why a name is pronounced odd and get with the program.
