Orange Box keeps crashing

Hi, have any of you played the PS3 version without any problems?
It was working absolutely fine, got really far but then pretty soon after you get the gravity gun (which im guessing is near the end of the game) it just keeps freezing at the same point.
Thought I'd give episode 1 & 2 a bash, but they also freeze pretty much as soon as the game begins this time.

Anyone else having similar issues? or more importantly what I can do about it?

I'm afraid I can't help you with your problem, but just to say that you get the gravity gun a little way before half-way through the game, so you had a lot left to do!

Yeah you were about 1/3 of the way through the game maybe, if that
