Half life 2 or left 4 dead?
I'm thinking about getting one or the other which do you think is better?
shareDo you prefer single-player or multi-player games? I think HL2 is vastly superior (being a huge fan of the HL series in general), but L4D has got much better replay value.

shareGet The Orange Box. Its £15 in UK and has 5 games. Fantastic value. And if you have Live, you need Left 4 Dead. Its one of the most exhilarating live games I've ever played. So I say, get both. They're different games but equally fantastic. L4D is not a single player game tho. You definately need online play to get the most out of it.

Yeah, I got l4D on xbox, and I was asking whether or not to get it on PC, for all the extras. In the end, I did actually buy both L4D and orange box. You're right, OB is really good, Portal is one of my favourite games.
shareDon't think its worth getting L4D on PC especially since L4D2 is coming out soon. I love Portal, but i hadn't played any of the Half Life 2 games before getting OB and Half Life just blew me away. So exhilarating.
