Okay so, what if they make an Opposing Force 2 which plays out through the 7 hour war.
The 7 hour war is the war between the Combine and the Humans.
It's the lost time between Half-Life and Half-Life 2
How about it? Adrian Sheppard is drawn out of his stais, and put on earth to fight the Combine.
That would be a good game, don't you think?

Its only a good game if its made well, I'd rather Valve finished Ep3 and HLsource first.
Its a good idea however, though his fight would be ultimately futile. Maybe we could see Sheppard dying in the end too, I'd imagine Valve could make that quite an epic ending.

The 7 hour war was that... 7 hours long. So, basically, for any military force to overwhelm an entire planet it would have to pretty much swarm over the entire planet and wipe out any resistance as fast as it was going. It would have to get from wherever they came out of to the opposite side of the planet in those 7 hours. Crazy war! Good idea but obviously any resistance would've been wiped out almost instantly. It wasn't a war, it was a massacre.
