It wasn't Fear and Loathing, but it was better

... at being a piece of *beep* Lol nah it was ok. Fear & Loathing is possibly my favourite movie of all time. We all know clearly that this movie wasn't of that standard, this movie was much worse. BUT, I didn't find it terrible. It was entertaining. The love interest plot was probably the worst part imo - it was pointless.

Why do people mock it so much? There is no way they could have made fear and loathing quality movie. That movie was beyond any planning or directing etc - it had a touch of pure magic, it was psychedelicly inspired.

Anyway one thing both movies go to show is that psychedelic drugs breed creativity and insight. I genuinely pity anyone who hasn't tried psychedelic drugs - you have no idea what you've missed out in your bland/ordinary life.

Well, something must have helped the 60s/70s musicians to be able to create the magical music they did (Im talking The doors, Jefferson airplane, CCR and Beatles).

What did these guys have in common? It was not just the time, but something else.

Your post shows your ignorance of the science and facts. LSD does not put 'holes in your brain', not does it leave people 'brain dead'. They are absurd myths by dirty old house wives who are too old to be able to read any reputable information.

LSD opens your mind and lets you see deeper levels of reality than are visible by those without.

If you never have LSD you will never know as much as those who have.

reply

Not everyone needs psychedelic drugs to unlock those parts of their mind.

i think it may have been better. it had more of a story.
