Production Design and Art Direction

I have to confess that I purchased this DVD despite the bad reviews. I knew that this film was probably a badly written paint-by-the-numbers horror film with mediocre acting done by usually good actors who needed some quick cash to pay for a couple of their house mortgages payments and I wasn't disappointed.

The reason I purchased this movie was the very provocative poster that promised some impressive set design, costumes, and props. I was not disappointed on that score. I don't know who was responsible, either the production Designer or Art Director, but the look of the film was certainly pleasant eye candy. Hiring the Production Designer was probably the only thing in "BloodRayne" that Uwe Boll did right.
