The best of the Worst.
Ok so, Bloodrayne is woefully abysmal, but it's his best effort so far (perhaps).BUT I have found Uwe Boll's calling, he is a perfect example of "What not to do". So all you budding film makers out there, do the opposite when you make a film and your outcome should be fantastic. Most common BAD habits of Uwe Boll, are as follows.
1. Unfathomably tedious stories/plots.
2. Set’s always look like the paint isn’t dry and was built the night before.
3. Lighting design. Lights are always too dark or far too bright or just plain dull.
4. Character’s we don’t give two hoots about, no character development or spirit.
5. Lack of technical training for his actors eg: sword play, or gunplay etc.
6. Regular re-use of repetitively similar footage. Eg: blood spray.
7. Musical sound track that seems disproportionate to the settings.
8. Irregular editing, lack of master shots and close ups or pick ups.
9. A DEFINATIVE LACK OF DETAIL IN ANYTHING HE ATTEMPTS TO FILM. SERIOUSLY THE ACTORS IN BLODRAYNE LOOKED SO UN MANAGED IT WAS LAUGHABLE. Everything from swordplay, bow and arrow, horse riding and bodily manoeuvres looked cumbersome and simply difficult. At many times I looked away from the screen embarrassed for the actor.
Any way blah blah, he’s the one making all these films I just don’t know how he does it.
