I'm Sure I'm Not Being Fair
...And I realize it's been mentioned a few times, but I just need to say that the actress playing Rayne (Lokken?) looks nothing like her, and that ruins it for me. I still haven't seen this film, and am in no rush to.
She looks nothing like the Rayne from the VG--certainly they could have found someone who has similiar features. This actress's features are too round and curved, not chisled and defined. She looks like a child instead of a woman.
Like I said, I'm sure it's not fair to pick it apart based solely on her looks, but irregardless, it still bugs me. The reason why I say it is because Rayne's looks (at least for me and for many others [I think]) are such a huge part of the game, as well as her personality. I can't take that girl seriously just based on her facial features.
I hate getting this emotionally involved in a film , I realize it's ridiculous, but I still can't help it!
Heck, maybe they couldn't find an actress who was both willing to act in Uwe's film and who looked more like Rayne!
*PS* You know what else is kind of weird? Seeing Rayne in baggy leather pants .
