Deleted scenes...(possible spoilers)

Totally great flick, hope everyone sees it. Now with that said if you haven't seen it, then you might not want to read this thread as it might contain spoilers.

Ok so after I watched the movie I immediately thought, "What a great film....but wait a minute is it really only just over an hour long??" So I go to the deleted scenes on the DVD as most do, and after watching them I was completely confused. What the heck were they thinking cutting all those scenes out! Of course I watched them with and with out the commentary so I really do know his reasoning but it was the usual "Didn't feel like it fit the tone" stuff that they always say.

But seriously, does anyone else agree or disagree? The movie was short so it wasn't like they were worrying about time issues. The scenes really did reveal more about the movie than some people would pick up on. And a few added some nice comedic moments, not that this movie needed it as it was still a funny and sincere.

Perhaps play a little game called "Just the tip." Just for a second, just to see how it feels.

I didn't listen to the commentary either, so it is also a bit strange how they deleted so many, presumably for reasons other than time-constraint. There didn't seem to be a technical problem with the scenes. Perhaps they just thought it hampered the storyline, or changed aspects of the characters, or something.
