Apropriate for a 14 year old?

Um yeah, I'm 14 and I'd love to see this movie. I will of course ask my parents and order it with them. They're OK with me seeing R rated movies in general. The only thing I'd like to know is, why is it R rated?

There is some bad language. That's the only reason it's an R.

This movie is totally unrestricted in Australia. To watch a restricted movie you have to be 15 or over (MA) or over 18 (R). So this movie is suitable for mature audiences which depends on the individual but I'd say around 10 and over. The (M) rating means that anyone can watch it but if you're not mature, you won't really understand or like it.
