Who saw this movie?

I saw it. Who else saw it?

for me....

This is my favorite Twist Ending of all time.

I wish I could have my mind erased and watch this film again and have The experience again of having my mind blown.

I highly recommend Both SAW I and II....IMO these are extremely good and BOTH have incredible ending.

I'm not a huge fan of Saw III, For me This is where the series really turned to torture porn, But It does wrap up The Trilogy and most probably should watch it if you watched SAW I and II

I also somewhat enjoyed Saw 4 through 7 and the new Story lines it brought, although These films were full on torture porn, Buuuuut I thought They had enough decent story lines to make them watchable.

IMO Jigsaw and Spiral are simply Trash and Literally FAILED at everything that made any of these films good.

Is the twist really that good, though?

I mean sure, it's shocking in the moment, but when you think about it it makes no sense. Why would the mastermind behind the whole thing pretend to be a corpse in the bathroom? He gains literally nothing from it at all that he wouldn't get from just watching the security camera. Why would he need to be there in the room with them pretending to be a corpse? And also, wouldn't it be incredibly easy for them to tell that he's not dead? Even if he took some muscle relaxant (like one of the sequels retconned in), he'd still need to, you know... Breathe. And believe it or not, you move slightly when you breathe. No way two people in very close proximity to him, one of which is literally an experienced doctor, wouldn't be able to tell he's not dead.

To me, Saw II has a much better twist. At least that one makes perfect sense within the context of the narrative and was sufficiently foreshadowed while still being a surprise.

I saw it in theaters in 2004, some of the sequels as well.

If we're talking the first time for me it was in 2004 in the theater that I worked for at the time

I did not see Saw, but if I did see Saw I would have seen Saw and could then say I saw Saw.

I see.

It doesn't seem that the others in this thread do. They saw, but they don't see.
