I'm watching the Blu-ray right now, in English, all regions, but it has foreign subtitles and packaging, as it's a Dutch release I believe. I think many English-language movies are released this way, I've come across a few already.

R1 is for DVD, I'm talking about Blu-ray which has different regions. And yes, the Perfume Blu-ray is playable GLOBALLY, even if it has foreign language packaging.
